Sorry dear readers that this blog has not been updated lately. Just for your info, we are doing well, fulltime homeschooling with the two boys (not that it's new to us). Too many things to do, too little time to blog. Sigh! Really juggling with time.

While my in-laws think that I spoil my boys, I told them that it is very rare to have polite kids nowadays. :) The boys can be so irritatingly cheeky, yet  "Please & Thank you"s are always generous from them. Yes, even my mumbling baby C.

Another New Year 2009

Time really flies.. 

It has been a quiet celebration for us, Christmas & New Year. Another IL migrated, that left only few more of us stuck in KK... sniff sniff

This time, we didnt visit my parents on Chrismas Day because my niece had contracted with chicken pox. Well, lil C had his vaccine, but bb C and mama hadnt!!! So, there we were, spending Christmas morning at KKIA bade farewell to SIL and the bunch. Then, had simple brunch at Damai food stall.. We wanted to watch movie at 1B, but the babes fell asleep in the car, so we made a u-ie. At night, after dinner, we went to 1B for window shopping..

We attended Christmas Eve mass at SHC the night before, and I must give a big thumbs-up to the choirs' singing.. That really made our night for being there as early as 2 hours before the mass started. Kiasu to get good, comfy seat!

And because of SIL was leaving on Christmas day itself, we specifically had our Christmas dinner with the Vuns on the 23rd. Yeap, early boxing day that made the kids excited. We taught the boys to sing, "We wish you a Merry Christmas!" and made them repeat the song like 20 times before opening their presents.. yeah, adults can be very mean at times!

Festive Season

This is the time where we go visiting, esp to close friends' and relatives' open house.. and my lists keep going on till the 1st... Makan, makan and makan (eat, eat & eat)... burp! excuse me!

The best part for lil C is that all the junk food in the world is available anywhere... he conveniently have them esp for lunch.. Guess Mama is quiet lenient during this festive season..

It's a new year, again! Wishing everyone, a wonderful new year 2007! May the year 2006 has brighten our lives with lotsa colours!!

Last year, I mean 2006, has taught me, especially not taking our precious for granted! To lil C, I thank you for showing me the way to be so patient and loving, appreciating the nature around me. To dearest hubby, for giving me support and belief in my undertakings. And to all friends and families, for cheering me up and lending a shoulder to cry on whenever i needed you guys!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

New Year, new resolutions..??? hmm... Well, that's what everyone would normally say.. To me, this new year, may Lord give me the holy spirit with his blessings, to guide me in bringing up my lil C, to have more patience, not to spank him.. (hahaha).. and have a super duper big heart! AMEN!! and also to peace on earth.. hehehe

Last night, hadda dinner with friends at Ancient Mariner Restaurant, KK. Food was ok.. not much comments on the rest! hehehe.. Anyways, came home kinda late after countdown, around 1am. On the way home, Pohpoh called to inform that lil C woke up, looking for us. She passed the phone to lil C to listen to his MaMa's voice. I was almost broke in tears... According to Pohpoh, he refused to go to sleep ( i.e from 10pm - till we arrived home).Poor baby, he was at the doorstep, carried by PohPoh, waited for us to come home.

Carried him unto my arms, brought him to our room and breastfed him. He was already sound asleep while drinking milk. I told myself, how could I actually leave him alone while we went out enjoying ourselves.. Or maybe its just part & parcel of life... learning things as we go through...

Still cant forget the pain, when I heard his voice for the first time on the phone... tsk..tsk..

ANyways, we, the family of the VUNS, are going to have New YEar's dinner at Atlantis Cafe, Damai... That's tonight.. being cheapskate for not having dinner on eve instead. Thinking about it, all the holiday's fun are too commercialised that one may pay double if one is to go out for NYE's dinner..
