I am a cake lover! In other words, I LOVE CAKES! ;) Having sweet tooth, I just cant help but finding excuses to eat cakes.. I love traditional fruity wedding cakes, that for my wedding was 3 tiers of fruity, scrumptious, yummy cake baked by a close family friend. I even kept the cake for our 4th anniversary celebration! Until she retired few years back, I had to look for other resources to order cake for special occasions.. Be it the cake house or other recommendations by friends... But I've always love homebake cakes...yum! yum!.
Thank you internet, for introducing Deana! I knew her from blog-hopping, due to her CD addiction for her newborn darling Sona. I have seen her cake artwork and the right time came when lil C was turning 3. I've asked her to bake cuppies for lil C's classmates. It was a hit! The kids
and the teachers loved it! Their tiny hands were irresistable, wanted to grab the closest cuppies for them to adore! and the teachers were just standing behind the kitchen door..*seriously*... waiting to be offered the left-over! hahaha!
I love cheese cakes too! I am eyeing on this... to order for this coming Mother's Day! Just wait for my mail, Deana!!And I want to book in advance, birthday cuppies for DH's birthday in october... But can it be GOLF-oriented, and not footies?
How I wished I knew about Deana and her sister, Faye 5 years ago! I would love to have cuppies for my wedding!!! Cut the tradional cake out!!! I love this design (below), I could just gobble them up.. (oohh! But you wouldnt wanna see a bride doing so... hahaha!!!)!!
And I could have custom-made my wedding card design from Faye too!!! I love her creative designs!
Not to forget, an edible ring box, truly creative!!Yum yum yum! (Tengah bermimpi ... drooling!)
Finally, this classic design reminds me of my mom. She baked a cake (not pudding) with this doll theme when I was 12 years old (that's 20 years ago)... Back then, that made all the cousins, friends even the aunties envied the lucky me! Muahahaha!! *vain laffs*
To those who are interested to order cuppies / cakes from this creative sisters (not to forget, their brother bakes too!!), do click on and website for more info!

This is, or should I refer as was (burp, xcuse me), the last piece of our wedding cake... yummy!! A rum&raisin cake which is as old as our marriage... We decided to have it for breakfast this morning.. Too sweet tho', but lil C loved it to bits! He asked, what cake is it. I told him it is a special cake. When he heard it special, he nodded, saying, "Oh!" and ate it..

It's our 4th year wedding anniversary... and guess how we spent it this time?
Due to hubby's limited time of planning, we had to cancel our plans to stay at Rasa Ria Resort. Instead, we planned to visit the Wild Life Park (again) for the sake of lil C.. He just love going there..
Well, it was pouring cats and dogs that morning.. and lil C was sleeping soundly after late night sleep celebrating PohPoh's 71st birthday the night before at TATU. We didnt manage to go to Mass. Hubby sent his parents to the Airport early in the morning as they were going away for a vacation. We had 'kim-chee-mein' (economy noodle) my FIL bought for breakfast, while waiting lil C to wake up. Then, had a 'romantic-less' lunch with BIL & gf at Olde Station Kopitiam.
Since it was still raining, again, we had to cancelled our Zoo trip and instead spending time window shopping at Warisan Square & Karamunsing. We amused ourself by buying a mini-drum set & an Oral-B electric toothbrush for lil C.. hahahah!
The irony about buying this drumset was that, abelle & her son too, was looking at the drumset and bought one for Isaiah (More like her BIL got it..hehehe) What a coincidence!
Lil C cant wait to go home, "Let's Go, Papa.. Let's go.. urgghhh" trying to carry the drumset box.
The Happiest Kid!!! while PaPa was fixing his drum
Let's Rock and Roll...

We had dinner, to celebrate my parents-in-law 44th wedding anniversary. The food was scrumptous, not too expensive. ;) It's above the Winner's Hotel, at Cantonese Noodle House (i think)
Lil C trying his chopstick skill to pick the popcorns.
After dinner, we dropped by at Parkson, Wawasan Plaza, trying to look for small glass pitcher, which is no where to be found anywhere.. Lil C, a motorcycle lover, refused to go home (popo wanted to return home before 9.30pm, not to missed her WLT TV programme) when he saw a bunch of MoMo (Motorbike models). So, mama took pictures of them and promised to show him in the car on the way home. AGreed.
Just hope that he wont be a Mat Rempit, in future!

We decided to go ahead with our plans to the mountain.. We left the house when it was almost noon time. Arrived at Kundasang, perfect for lunch, 1pm. Lil C slept during the journey, thank god!
First, we drove to Kinabalu Pine Resort to enjoy the mountain view and lunch, but that place was packed with people! So hubby thought that up at the Memorial Garden would have eateries .. but too bad, when we asked the caretaker, she told us that only resting place and no food available... So, we decided to have lunch at the National Park's restaurant.. and no parking available... ?? We drove to the center area of National Park where there are the exhibition of National Park history (Not sure what its called).. ample of parking, and settled for lunch.
Wind was strong so lil C hadda put his windbreaker on..
A picture with PaPa
Papa pampering this young man!
Waiting for PaPa.. for some reason, he is sooooooo attached to his papa
After lunch, wanted to look for a decent Garden for lil C to run around... but couldnt find one! So, we let him play around the restaurant near the entrance of National Park.. poor guy wunning on stoney ground!
Alas! Green Green Grass of Home! Finally, went to a purrrfect place! hihihi..
Enjoying to bits! Ala lil house in the prairie..
Mama, my shoe got off!!! Mama!
We rushed home around 4pm as we wanted have dinner with the Slades. On the way home, lil C got too cranky in the car as I guess he got to excited running up and down the hill that he didnt want to go home.. So, dinner was a raincheck (Sorry about that Slades) and upon arriving KK, which lil C was still screaming and Mama hadda terrible headache, we decided to go to Center Point for a break. Had brownies and coffee at Starbucks and Lil C loves the spacious Palm Square area where he'll scout around with joy! Dinner was 1901 sausages.. hahahah!!!. When we arrived home, bathe the lil one and he fell asleep soothly.. Sigh! A looooooong but fun day!!

It's my 3rd year wedding anniversary.. Geez, time really flies soo fast! Felt it was only like yesterday! hahahah! Exactly 1095 days ago, here I was, trying to get my beauty sleep to be prepared for my big day! (note that its 1am in da morn' at the moment)
How's life after married? Well, ... err.. umm..? I cant say its the same as when I was not, especially now being tied down with the lil one.. Its never been better! I am blessed with my other half who is very considerate and have great tolerance in this relationship, and my cute unpredictable lil bunny who is always bring great joy in the family. What more would I ask for? (Maybe more $$, hahaha!)
We had plans to celebrate our special day.. Nope, no candlelight dinner for three. We had agreed that its not practical to spend time with the lil one for now. Normally, dinner time, we had to take turns who eats first while the other takes care of the young man...Last year we ended up at a Japanese Fast Food Restaurant in Centre Point. This year, we thought of spending the day to the Mountain high (influence from the SOM) and go around the mulberry bush.. Lil C would love the climate.. But this morning, he was down with cold and slight fever.. so, the plans may have to be dropped!!! Boo-Hoo! SIgh! well.. just haf to wait till the sunrise and see how it goes. Hopefully lil C gets better!
Anyways, we met Collyn and Erin, whom is here in KK for a visit (Erin & Simon are doing a world-tour.. check out their blog), at Merdeka Supermarket earlier in the evening. Collyn invited us to have dinner at her mom's place tomorrow night. SO, I guess that may be great for a change. Buffet style dinner, great home-cooking food (Collyn is a wonderful cook); screaming kids on the loose, with no one giving the LOOK at the easy-going parents.. hehehe.. just wonderful! Brilliant idea!
Have a great weekend.

Arrived Seremban at around 3pm. Stayed at Royal Adelphi Hotel, previously was Hilton. Unfortunately, service & room condition were not up to satisfactory. But that didnt hinder lil C from enjoying himself... esp in da room.
