Pluto the smallest planet ?
Right? Well, it was during my school years, I was told that we have 9 planets in our solar system, and pluto is the smallest planet.
Now not anymore, poor pluto has been demoted as a dwarf planet... It was said that Pluto failed to dominate its orbit around the Sun in the same way as the other planets. Therefore textbooks will now have to describe a Solar System with just eight major planetary bodies.
Bye-bye Pluto!
