Cameron is 1

Time really flies. It felt just like yesterday when baby C was born.. We did a simple, yet meaningful celebration on the 4.4.2009, a trio celebration! My mom was born on the 4.4.1944 (same date as Baby C) and niece Michelle's 6.4.1998. We had 2 cakes, carrot cheese cake for Baby C from Denna and the vedablu icecream cake for mum & mich.

The classical pose!

So cute! Love the doggie figurine (hmm.. the head kept falling off as Lil C was curious, keep touching it)

My little family

hmmm... which one is better?

Lemme try to break it first...

Before the cake cutting, the kids were dipping in the Pirate Ship (Baby C's birthday present from us) while Baby C was still in dreamland. In fact, Baby C slept the whole day from 12pm-4pm. Papa woke him up to blow his cake.

At night, when everyone had left.. Baby C was playing with his koko's Lepao Blocks.. trying to put the driver on his seat.

The Birthday Walk

Lil C had turned 4 last February. We couldn't celebrate his birthday on the day itself (21st Feb) because of my aunt's funeral. But we celebrated in his school, a day earlier - the Montessori way.

Cuppies by Colus Cake
Lil C told me that he wanted a golf theme cake, but I thought it would be more colourful with different kind of balls. :) Thanks Dena, you're the best!

Mama was narrating about lil C's development via photo album which was compiled the night before... as lil C held a globe and walked around the "sun"

A Reflection..

Reminiscing the good old days... when I was still in school, having the butterfly-in-the-stomach puppy loves *wink*, memorising lines for school drama, thrills sitting for exams, sleepless nights hanging out with friends (even when assignments were due), eating McD's icecream in Sydney's cold winter night (a stress relief remedy for the undergrads), fist-fighting online, meeting new friends and saying bon jour to old ones, the falls, tears, laughters, sadness, madness.. .. all those memories give smile on my face!

Love is the greatest thing in life.
Rule of thumb: Love yourself first, before you love others

Time passes by very fast, in a wink of an eye. Sometimes I would laugh at the silliest things ever happened, sometimes I would cry at happy events... three decades of my life (plus 2 years) has been a good one. All the experiences, silly/happy/bad ones added more colours into my life.

One of Lil C's art collection, he calls it "Silly Christian"

The statement "To be happy is a choice" by Deana-e has been lingering in my head.. Its true, to be happy IS our choice. If a lemon thrown at me, I'd turn it to a chilled lemonade drink... ahh! refreshing!!.
One of the happiest moment of my life

I thank God for giving me a wonderful life. With a loving husband and two beautiful boys, there's nothing more to ask for.. I just wanna add in my little prayer, to give me strength every day so I can live to attend my boys' wedding. (hahahaha!!! I even dread to think of them starting to date)..

Growing up with the Cs

hmmm... this mind always thinks too much esp when birthday is coming!.. Happy birthday to all Cancerian bloggers& readers (now, who's cancerian? I only know FLorence & Deana) ! that includes me too.. hehehe.. exactly 2 weeks from now!

p/s: so far, I found 3 strains of grey hair within 10yrs... Not too bad, huh? err... Dear Lord, maybe another request, a small tiny one. .. slow down the aging process, can? TQ

Happy Fullmoon, Baby C

We celebrated Baby C's fullmoon, last sunday at the Tai Thong, Royal China Restaurant Lido. I like the place, spacious & quite grand. Invited around 100 families & friends for the occasion.

The little bumble bee, Baby C weights 3.9kg, heights 55cm. He is growing fast, thanks to MaMa's best milk!

Smile for you!

"Yo yo yo! The name is Baby C! I am one month old" (lil C raps with his breakdancing)

Cakes cakes cakes!

I am a cake lover! In other words, I LOVE CAKES! ;) Having sweet tooth, I just cant help but finding excuses to eat cakes.. I love traditional fruity wedding cakes, that for my wedding was 3 tiers of fruity, scrumptious, yummy cake baked by a close family friend. I even kept the cake for our 4th anniversary celebration! Until she retired few years back, I had to look for other resources to order cake for special occasions.. Be it the cake house or other recommendations by friends... But I've always love homebake cakes...yum! yum!.

Thank you internet, for introducing Deana! I knew her from blog-hopping, due to her CD addiction for her newborn darling Sona. I have seen her cake artwork and the right time came when lil C was turning 3. I've asked her to bake cuppies for lil C's classmates.

It was a hit! The kids and the teachers loved it! Their tiny hands were irresistable, wanted to grab the closest cuppies for them to adore! and the teachers were just standing behind the kitchen door..*seriously*... waiting to be offered the left-over! hahaha!

I love cheese cakes too! I am eyeing on this... to order for this coming Mother's Day! Just wait for my mail, Deana!!

And I want to book in advance, birthday cuppies for DH's birthday in october... But can it be GOLF-oriented, and not footies?

How I wished I knew about Deana and her sister, Faye 5 years ago! I would love to have cuppies for my wedding!!! Cut the tradional cake out!!! I love this design (below), I could just gobble them up.. (oohh! But you wouldnt wanna see a bride doing so... hahaha!!!)!!

And I could have custom-made my wedding card design from Faye too!!! I love her creative designs!

Not to forget, an edible ring box, truly creative!!

Yum yum yum! (Tengah bermimpi ... drooling!)

Finally, this classic design reminds me of my mom. She baked a cake (not pudding) with this doll theme when I was 12 years old (that's 20 years ago)... Back then, that made all the cousins, friends even the aunties envied the lucky me! Muahahaha!! *vain laffs*

To those who are interested to order cuppies / cakes from this creative sisters (not to forget, their brother bakes too!!), do click on Deana's Contemporary Cakes for All Occasions and Faye's Food & Design website for more info!

Happy 3rd Birthday, lil C

This is supposed to be yesterday's posting... Lil C celebrated his 3rd birthday with his classmates in his pre-school. He was soooo excited going to school that PaPa he even forgot to bring his school bag to school!!!

He got up considerably early.. 6.30am, took a piece of his cuppies (supposedly to distribute to his classmates....)

This is the way I brush my teeth, every in the morning!

This is my lil C, whenever I wanted to take his photo, he does all this silly gestures...
Digging gold in the morning!

Part of his cuppies, since only 15 children in his class. I ordered 50 cuppies (min order has to be 50) from deana-e. They are sooo adorable, with the lil faces &

"Happy Birthday to youuuu"

"Hands up... " to distract the kids' from meddling with the food.
Then they sing, "Thank you God for the food"

Pre 3rd Birthday Celebration

Last Sat, we had a simple celebration for lil C's 3rd birthday, and it was held 6 days earlier. Enjoyed it very much esp the things that lil C wished for came true.. He wanted a guitar!
JiaPoh (Nenek) baked him a guitar cake... Lil C couldnt keep his eyes off it.. and hands too.. He kept digging the icing!

& Kungkung gave a mini acoustic guitar (and its black in colour too, just as requested by Lil C)!

Doesnt wanna change to his chinese custome. Prepared the washed gym mat for baby Ivy, but lil C refused to let anyone to use it, except MaMa's baby.

Mama & Papa gave a Voila easel.. Earlier, this was the hot item.. the kids hadda queue to work on it. Here, Ian Koko was telling story through his drawing.

Then, come the choo-choo-train, as lil C called it!

KuKu (SIL) gave Thomas & Friends Train set... where it kept the kids' attention for a period of time! The Hottest item!

Newly made friends... Cute boys looked-alike, esp the blonde hair!

"Happy Birthday" song, accompanied by lil C's basic 'strumming' of the guitar...
Greng.. greng...

"Fuh!!!" Blowing of the candle.. of course Ian KoKo got to blow it first! One of the best part of cake cutting among lil kids!

"My portion"...
He just loves his Jia Poh (Nenek / maternal grandma)'s homebake cake.. He called his Jia Poh - a cooker (instead of a cook / baker)

Baby Ivy didnt miss a bit! She is sooo adorable, being 4 months old.

This thursday, lil C is going to celebrate his big 3rd birthday in his school, with his new friends.. Cant wait!
