If you have noticed, most of my current postings are Montessori-oriented. This is because I am using the montessori approach on lil C's development. Kiasu mom? Well, I believe that every parent wants the best for their child. So, to me, Montessori approach is the one of the besthing I can offer to Lil C. After putting a lot of thoughts about which preschool to choose for Lil C, we have decided that we will put on hold for lil C's playschool... maybe give mama him another 6 months, i.e. when he turns 2.5yo.

Montessori approach is not just an education method that is designed for pre-school. There are some parts of the world that has secondary montessori school. In fact, if one understands this methodology, it actually allows for a child's exploration and self-discovery - which encourages the child to be active rather than passive learners at all levels.

When things do not work out while working with lil C on some Montessori exercises and lil C refused to concentrate... , I will stop whatever we have done and keep reminding myself to "Have faith in a child".
